Great product photography requires great lighting, styling, sharp lenses, technical know-how, and the problem solving skills necessary to achieve a desired look. That technical know-how also extends into the post production phase of the shoot. After the camera and lights are turned off, the high end retouching, image composition, image manipulation, and color correcting begins. With 25 years of photography and photoshop experience you can trust that your new product photography will make your products shine. I have photographed everything from skincare products to chandeliers, from clothing and footwear to high tech scientific equipment. My fully equipped 1500 Sq/ft studio in Burlington, Vermont offers all of the equipment needed to make your products stand out from the competition.

Headshots

I believe that a headshot should look clean, simple, and natural. I understand that many of us are not professional models and may not feel very comfortable in front of the camera. My way of working keeps the stress low and we shoot until you are happy with the outcome. Feel free to bring a friend, a loved one, or your pup to the shoot (we love dogs) if that will help you to feel more comfortable!

Editorial and commercial portraits

Sometimes the desired look for a portrait may require shooting on location or at your place of business to give some literal background into who you are and what you do. I can bring my lighting equipment to you and set up a portrait studio wherever that may be (outdoors, in your office, factory, workshop, etc…)

Lifestyle photography

Lifestyle photography is a great way to showcase your product or brand in use and it helps your potential clients to better understand what it is that you offer. It is a blend of staged and natural photography, typically on location, that shows your brand or product out in the world.

My ability to blend those staged and natural interactions by capturing the in-between moments can help your potential clients to better understand your product and to envision themselves in that captured scene, which turns your lifestyle photography into a highly valuable asset.

Yes, I have a 1500 sq ft studio located at 180 Flynn Ave. in the south end of Burlington, Vermont. It is within walking distance of Nomad Coffee, Burlington Beer Co, Switchback Brewery & Taproom, City Market Co-op, and ths scenic shores of Lake Champlain’s Oakledge Park.

FUN FACT: The building that my studio is in was built by the Lumiere Brothers in 1904. If you are unfamiliar with the Lumiere brothers, they were pioneers in cinema and in color photography. It is wonderful for me to work within the same walls as them and to continue the photographic legacy of this building. See our contact page for more details.

Any appointment that is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. Any cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount
